  • Not tolerate illegal behaviour

Our responsibilities when entering private property for hunting.

Firearms

Always observe the 10 Firearm Safety Rules and insist others do the same

Gates

All gates to be left as you find them.

Rubbish

All rubbish to be removed.

Campsite

To be left neat and tidy.

Speed Limits

Around paddocks, travel at a speed to cater for the unknown, on tracks try to limit the amount of dust you create.

Toileting

Always use a shovel and never toilet near tracks, gates or dams and bores.

Water, Food and Fuel

Always be self sufficient in food water and fuel or check prior to your trip about the availability of fresh water.

Stock

Consider stock and try to cause a minimum of disturbance. Owner’s directions to be complied with at all times.

Owner

Sportsman like behaviour is to be maintained at all times.

The Ten Basic Rules About Firearm Safety

  1. Treat every firearm as loaded
  2. Always point firearms in a safe direction
  3. Load a firearm only when ready to fire
  4. Identify your target beyond all doubt
  5. Check your firing zone
  6. Store firearms and ammunition safely
  7. Avoid alcohol or drugs prior to and while handling firearms
  8. Never have loaded firearms in the car, home or camp
  9. Never fire at hard surfaces or water
  10. Don’t climb fences or obstacles with a loaded firearm

As long as a firearm is in good condition and handled and stored properly, it cannot hurt anyone.
